911 Call Says Beckham was Speedy & Driving Recklessly

Soccer star David Beckham was speeding and driving recklessly before he was involved in a freeway crash that sent another driver to the hospital, according to 911 calls obtained by an entertainment website and statements from the California Highway Patrol.

The L.A. Galaxy star was driving a black Cadillac on the southbound 405 Freeway near Artesia Boulevard on May 6 when he rear-ended a stalled Mitsubishi, the CHP said in a statement.

The Mitsubishi’s owner, a 40-year-old Los Angeles resident, had stopped his vehicle in the carpool lane when his vehicle stalled.

Beckham is described as driving recklessly just before the crash, according to emergency calls obtained by TMZ.com.

One caller told a CHP dispatcher the Cadillac was “speeding really bad … all the way from LAX.”

The Cadillac was tailgating and pulling in and out of the carpool lane before the accident happened, another caller said.

Beckham’s 12-year-old son was in the Cadillac, according to TMZ.com.

Neither Beckham nor his son were hurt, and the soccer star was not cited. The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries, the CHP said.

David Takes the Boys for Ice Cream & Victoria to Dinner

We all know how much the Beckham boys like PinkBerry, the frozen yogurt chain in LA, so it was no surprise when photographers spotted David, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Coco at the ice cream shop a few days ago.

Later in the evening, David and Victoria ventured to Matsushia for dinner... one of their favorite spots.

David and Brooklyn Involved in a Minor Car Accident

David Beckham and his son were all right after being involved in a car accident on a freeway in Los Angeles. The soccer star rear-ended another car on Friday. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a hospital.

TMZ reports that Victoria Beckham's husband was driving a black Cadillac on the 405 Freeway near Torrance, CA, Friday morning when he bumped a gold Mitsubishi that was broken down in the carpool lane.

The driver of the other vehicle was wearing a seatbelt at the time, but had to be taken to the hospital.

Beckham and his eldest son, 12-year-old Brooklyn, were both not injured.

"Mr. Beckham's black Cadillac SUV collided with the rear of a gold Mitsubishi in the carpool lane," California Highway Patrol spokesperson Jennifer Connolly told People magazine, adding that the driver of the Mitsubishi complained of minor neck pain.

Beckham was not arrested or cited on the scene.

Victoria Beckham tried her hardest to avoid the paparazzi while she left the Chanel boutique in Beverly Hills last week. The fashionista even resorted to duckingn down in the seat of her car to avoid the cameras. Even though I love to see photos of the Beckhams, a life in the spotlight which leads to constantly being followed must get rather irritating.

Victoria Celebrates her Birthday at Bouchon Bistro

Yesterday was the lovely Victoria Beckham's 37th birthday and she celebrated it in style with her family. The pregnant designer was joined by her husband, three sons, and her parents (Tony & Jackie) at the french Bouchon Bistro in Beverly Hills. She looked amazing in the parachute silk dress from her spring 2011 collection and a pair of nude Christian Louboutin Daffodile pumps.

David and Victoria dined at Bounchon Bistro last night with their pals Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. David is the only diner visible in the photos but I wish we had gotten more! We haven't seen them with Tom and Katie in a while and I would've loved to see Victoria's outfit... obviously ;)

Since annoucing she's pregnant, Victoria Beckham has grown a little shyer than usual. We rarely see her outside of her car unless she's going through an airport. But hey, any sighting is better than none right?

The Beckhams & Ramsays Dine Out

I know a ton of you are getting a bit tired of seeing just car shots of the Beckhams, but in this case, it's been so long since we've seen them out that I'm actually embracing this not-so-flattering shot.

Yesterday, David and Victoria dined with their good friends, the Ramsays, at Smith's Brasserie. We did get to see a glimpse of David outside of the restaurant. Victoria, however, resorted to the backseat of the car.. almost hidden behind her hubby.

Hopefully she'll come out from under the rock this week. She is expected to be heading to NYC very soon as Fashion Week starts in a mere few days and her presentation is scheduled for Sunday.

The Beckhams Dine Out at Nobu

On Thursday night, David and Victoria were spotted exiting Nobu in London... one of their favorite restaurants. Victoria wore an all black ensemble and David sported a knitted cap.

The couple took their silver Rolls Royce out for a spin. My fiance loves the red interior!

On the other hand, is anyone else really interested in seeing full length photos? I know I am and ever since they've been in London and she announced her pregnancy, all we've gotten is car shots. Hopefully we'll get some soon so we can start a bump watch!

David’s Porsche 911 Turbo Auctioned Off for $217,100

$217,100 is a lot to pay for any car, especially if it’s used. Well, some bloke ended up cashing out exactly that amount on eBay for soccer legend David Beckham’s custom built/matte-black 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet, which had been driven for 6,774 miles.

What’s so special about this Porsche besides the fact that Beckham owned it and Victoria Beckham sat in it?

The 2008 Porsche 911 turbo is fitted with blacked-out headlamps, black alloy wheels, a sports exhaust system and Beckham’s Los Angeles Galaxy jersey number (23) is stitched into the seats.

Food for thought: Prices for a brand new 2011 Porsche 911 Turbo start at $135,500.
