Finally....

After hours of preparation and two days of posting I'm finally finished! I really hope you guys all enjoy the third annual Victoria Beckham Style Awards! Putting them up is my favorite part of the year! I love going through all of the outfits and photos!

Please don't hesitate to leave as many comments as you'd like! I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions!

Thanks guys for another great year! Can't wait to see what 2011 has in store!
**Special thanks to Fanpop, Zimbio, Celeb Gossip, Style, Daily Mail, ZigaZig-Ha!, Daily Stab, DayLife, JustJared, and Google for the photos used in the awards presentation!

VBS Awards '10: My Top 10 Looks of the Year

I often love everything Victoria wears and these ten ensembles I absolutely loved! Here's the list in no particular order:

  1. Victoria's look for the LG Fashion event was fabulous! Very flirty and playful. I really loved her curled hairstyle (I miss it and hope we see it again soon) and her self designed Cloud dress was gorgeous!
  2. This casual look that Victoria wore to The View is something I could see myself wearing. It's chic enough for anytime of day and I love that her spiked Louboutins were the added kick.
  3. I was drooling on my keyboard when Victoria stepped out wearing this amazing green Goat dress while in NYC. The color is divine and was definitely not something I was expecting since I'm so used to her wearing black all the time. I love this and I love her Brian Atwood cork slingbacks with it... perfectly complimentary!
  4. This is another casual style that she wore in the earlier part of last year. I love this because she wore it to get frozen yogurt with her family! YSLs and a Birkin for PinkBerry! In all honesty though, I really liked how simple this was and how her shoes perfectly matched her top. Her cranberry colored Birkin was a great pop of color to add to this all gray look.
  5. This vintage pale pink Correges dress was lovely on Victoria. So feminine and yet another unexpected color!
  6. The LBD strikes yet again but this time it was paired with her amazing Himalayan Birkin bag. Love this look!
  7. While at the Range Rover Evoque event, Victoria wore a self designed dress and Brian Atwood Drama pumps. This was simple and elegant.
  8. Victoria was on fire in this Giles mini with a matching cardigan. Love how it showcases her amazingly toned legs!
  9. This Miu Miu look was adorable and I was very glad to see her wear something other than a VB piece to the Net-a-Porter event. I love the color combo of this dress!
  10. Lastly, the ensemble she wore to the Women's Conference was classic and was made up of all self designed pieces. I love the neckline on her and her chic ponytail hairstyle!

VBS Awards '10: Top 5 Least Favorite Looks of the Year

It's not to often that Victoria has an off day in my opinion, but this year there were five looks I wasn't exactly fond of. Here they are in random order:
  1. Shopping: LBD, ruched sleeve blazer, Brian Atwood Zenith shoes, VB sunglasses, & Hermes Himalayan Birkin - This look was so ill fitting and it made her look even thinner than she is.
  2. ESPN Zone with the Boys: Stella McCartney jeans, tank, VB golden shrug, Brian Atwood Kiri boots, fedora, Hermes shoulder Birkin - This look is one of the sloppiest of the year I feel. It looks as if she dressed without considering the colors. I don't like the mixture of gold, tan, gray, and brown... just doesn't work for me.
  3. With Tana & Kids @ a Sport Center: Miu Miu dress, YSL pumps, Hermes shoulder Birkin, C&G sunglasses - This would've been cute had it not been worn to a sports center, but that is why we call her Posh. I also don't like the YSLs paired with this dress.. the color is all wrong and they seem way to heavy.
  4. At a Private Members Club in BH: Isabel Marant skirt, black tank, Brian Atwood cork slingbacks - This screams early WAG days to me. The teeny tiny ruffled skirt, thin tank top, and high heels just seems a bit off.
  5. British Fashion Awards: VB dress, Brian Atwood Dante pumps - What else can I say about how disappointed I was with this look and how much I disliked it. I feel that I've vented enough already but I will recap. The black dress was so mundane and boring for this event and very routine and her hair was a holy hot mess. The only thing I liked was her pumps.

VBS Awards '10: Most Unexpected Look of the Year

After seeing Victoria in chic dresses from her own line and the occasional pair of jeans, it was a bit of a shock to me when she showed up for dinner in NYC after the presentation of her spring 2011 collection looking quite rocker chic! This Isabel Marant ensemble consisted of cropped leather pants held up by a studded belt, a shimmering sweater top, and black pumps.. meow!

VBS Awards '10: Trend of the Year to Carry On in 2011

Last year, the trench with bare legs and heels trend was the Trend of the Year that carried on into 2010. This year, Victoria seemed to favor sky high boots when she wore her Abercrombie and Fitch shorts. This is a trend I'm not sure I could ever pull off, but Victoria has the gorgeous gams that completely work this look.

I have a feeling we will see more of this budding trend in 2011.

VBS Awards '10: Most Copied/Style Inspired Look of the Year

Two of the biggest trends in Hollywood this past year were green cargo pants and classic black blazers. Victoria Beckham hit it out of the park when she combined the two together and added chic nude pumps, a gray top, and aviator sunglasses at the airport. This very enesmble sparked a frenzy of celebrity inspired looks. Those inspired were reality sisters Kim & Kourtney Kardashian, The City's Olivia Palermo, and Oscar winner and fellow VB fan Gwyneth Paltrow.

VBS Awards '10: Reader's Choice Award - Favorite Airport Moments

I did include an award just like this last year and it just so happened that this category was selected by all of you as your 2010 Reader's Choice Award. Victoria's home away from home definitely seems to be the airport. She has to have the best frequent flyer milage around! Here are your top five airport moments of the year!
  1. LA to London in Burberry and Christian Louboutin
  2. LA to London in Roberto Cavalli pants
  3. Arriving in France wearing Isabel Marant
  4. Arriving in London wearing an elegant all black ensemble
  5. LA to London wearing Marc Jacobs and carrying VB bags
Thanks for voting everyone in the poll and for all of your fabulous suggestions!

VBS Awards '10: Chic Shopper

When Victoria's not with her family, traveling the globe, or working on her fashion line, we can often find her taking part in one of her favorite past times... shopping! Undoubtedly, Victoria is one of the chicest shoppers ever! Here are five of my favorite shopping ensembles of the year (in no particular order):

  1. Milan: Chanel jacket, cropped pants, Louboutin Maggie pumps, black top, Hermes Birkin, C&G sunglasses
  2. NYC: VB jeans and sunglasses, Hermes Birkin bag, silver shimmering V-neck top, black blazer, Brian Atwood Maniac pumps
  3. London: Isabel Marant red leather pants, Prada bow shoes, black tank, VB sunglasses, scarf
  4. Los Angeles: Isabel Marant top and skirt, Alaia shoes, Hermes Birkin bag, C&G sunglasses
  5. Russia: VB jeggings in khaki, Chanel coat, sheer V top, Louboutin boots, C&G sunglasses

VBS Awards '10: Reader's Favorite VB Dress of the Year

This award was based solely on a reader's only poll. You guys had a tough time making up your minds because your opinions are so diverse. But ultimately, you selected the gorgeous optical print flare dress, #99, from the spring 2011 collection as your favorite of the year. Great choice ;) I can't wait to see someone in this... especially Victoria!

VBS Awards '10: My Favorite VB Dresses of the Year

I separated this award by season. First, are my top four picks from the fall 2010 collection. This was especially hard for me because I genuinely loved every single piece. This is my favorite collection of all. Love the colors, lines, and elegant silhouettes!

Next are my top four picks of the spring 2011 collection. This collection didn't wow me nearly half as much as the previous season did. It took me a bit longer than usually to really fall in love with certain pieces, but these four I can honestly say I really like!

VBS Awards '10: VB Collection Fan of the Year

This is a new award this year and I added it because Victoria's line is so successful that she actually already has a handful of celebrity devotees. One of those devotees and 2010's VB Collection Fan of the Year is Demi Moore.

It's easy to see why Demi has become such a huge fan of Victoria's designs... they look amazing on her! Two my favorites were the royal blue column dress from the fall 2010 collection and the custom blush dress from the spring 2011 line.

I have a feeling we will continue to see Demi in VB pieces well into the new year. If you recall, she was the first to wear a piece from both the fall 2010 and spring 2011 collections (other than Victoria herself). And she has also been the only star to wear the leather leggings from VB's denim range.

VBS Awards '10: Most Worn Victoria Beckham Dresses of the Year

Each year, Victoria's fashion fanbase grows more and more. Her dresses are everywhere... in magazines, on the red carpet, and even on the small screen! Three of the most worn pieces of the year were the Fold Neck Fitted dress (fall 2010), Shoulder Pad Fitted dress (spring 2010), and the flared skirt dress (spring 2010) which were worn by the likes of Kelly Ripa, Gwyneth Paltrow, Iman, Janet Jackson, Katherine Jenkins, and many more.

VBS Awards '10: Most Worn Designer/Brand of the Year

Without a doubt!

This is the second year in a row that Victoria's own collection has been the most worn designer/brand. Whether it was her fabulous dresses, to die for denim, sexy sunglasses, or classic handbags, an ensemble was never short of a VB piece. As she continues to expand her brand, I'm sure this year we will see her out in her own designs often... and nobody rocks them like she does!

*One of the most worn collections of the year was the fall 2010 dress line.

VBS Awards '10: Item She Couldn't Live Without

A classic black blazer!

Whether she was attending an event that involved a red carpet, going to dinner with her family, or cruising through an airport, Victoria relied on one item in her closet most... her black blazer (or blazers I should say because I know there is definitely more than one!). Last year, the infamous Alaia cardigan took this title and by comparing the two, I noticed that her go-to items are always classic staples. I have a strong feeling we will be seeing many more in the future.
FYI... some of her favorite blazers are made by Stella McCartney and Alexander McQueen.

VBS Awards '10: Re-Run Outfit of the Year

Unlike last year, there wasn't many re-run ensembles, but one that stood out in my mind was this cute casual look that consisted of destressed jeans, a simple black tank, her A&F flip flops, a black hat, and sunglasses. She wore this outfit aleast three times last year and I never tired of it because I enjoy seeing her dressed down from time to time.

VBS Awards '10: Most Worn Color of the Year

For the second consecutive year, black has undoubtedly been the most worn color. Even though I'm sure Victoria's closet is bigger than some people's homes, she seems to favor her basic black... which has definitely become her staple color. Above is just a tiny glimpse into the endless black ensembles we saw her wear this year.
I am definitely crossing my fingers that the colorful side of her wardrobe returns in 2011!

VBS Awards '10: Most Refreshing Color Choices

It was definitely another year of black being the most worn color, but when Victoria decided to shock us with a lighter hue, it was most refreshing. Here are five of the most refreshing color choices of 2010:
  1. Yellow: Goat shift dress, Brian Atwood Zenith pumps, Hermes Himalayan Birkin, VB sunglasses
  2. Red: Giles mini and cardigan, Brian Atwood Milena slingbacks
  3. Green: Goat shift dress, Brian Atwood Zenith pumps, VB sunglasses
  4. Orange: VB spring 2011 dress, Chanel shoes
  5. Pink: Marc by Marc Jacobs dress, YSL pumps, VB sunglasses

VBS Awards '10: Notable Beckham Achievements

This was also a reader's pick and I really loved the idea! So thanks again :)

This year was another great year for the Beckhams. Victoria's fashion career has hit a high and David is as successful as ever as both a global soccer phenomenon and brand ambassador. Two of the most notable achievement moments of the year are:

  1. Victoria's fashion label nominated for Best Brand at the British Fashion Awards
  2. David earns the BBC Lifetime Achievement award

Congratulations to you both and may you have much more success in 2011!

VBS Awards '10: Could've Been Fabulous

This look killed me as you all know already. It was such an important night for her and her brand (she was nominated at this year's British Fashion Award as Best Designer Brand) and she showed up in yet another all black ensemble and her hair looking like a holy hot mess. This night I swore she would've come out looking incredibly but instead I felt like this was just ok... nothing wowed me but her fabulous Brian Atwood Dante pumps.

VBS Awards '10: Disappointing But Stunning Look

This Giles mini dress and Brian Atwood RZ boots combo is really a great look. Very modern, very trendy. But unfortunately, this was my disappointing but stunning ensemble of the year. It was disappointing only because we had seen Victoria in this exact dress two other times... the same dress in the LG ads with Eva Longoria and the same style at the first Fashion's Night Out event in 2009. So in other words, I was expecting something fresh and exciting when she attended the DVF party, but instead I was rather disappointed.
